About the Company
On behalf of our client, a well-established and fully regulated international brokerage firm specialising in Capital Markets and CFDs, we are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join its marketing department in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The company operates across multiple international markets, offering a broad range of financial instruments through advanced trading technology and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the company's organic and paid social media operations across multiple international markets and languages.
This position combines content strategy, paid advertising, account management, regulatory compliance, and performance optimisation, with a strong focus on brand development and measurable client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute organic and paid social media strategies across Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Reddit, and TikTok, where permitted.
Manage social media pages, advertising accounts, Business Manager structures, administrative access, platform verification, and account compliance.
Plan and optimise paid campaigns focused on qualified registrations, first-time deposits (FTDs), and cost-effective client acquisition.
Coordinate multilingual content calendars across English, German, Italian, and other target markets.
Oversee content scheduling, publishing, approvals, social listening, and reporting tools.
Ensure all content and advertising comply with applicable financial promotion regulations, including appropriate risk warnings and restrictions on CFD advertising.
Manage platform restrictions, appeals, account recovery, and communication with advertising platform representatives.
Maintain authentic audience growth and prevent artificial engagement or misleading promotional activities.
Oversee community engagement and ensure client enquiries and complaints are handled appropriately.
Monitor campaign performance and provide weekly reports on engagement, traffic, registrations, FTDs, and acquisition costs.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in social media marketing, including at least 3 years managing paid social advertising budgets.
Previous experience in Capital Markets, CFDs, FX, cryptocurrency, or another regulated financial services sector is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of financial advertising regulations, including MiFID II, ESMA-related CFD restrictions, and FCA social media promotion guidance.
Hands-on experience with Meta Business Manager, account verification, advertising restrictions, and account recovery.
Proven experience managing performance-driven campaigns and optimising client acquisition costs.
Knowledge of conversion tracking, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API, CRM events, and UTM tracking.
Experience managing multilingual social media accounts and coordinating international marketing activities.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above).
Availability to work on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Additional Advantages
German and/or Italian language proficiency at C1 level.
Experience with Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, or similar platforms.
Short-form video production and editing skills.
Existing relationships with Meta representatives or Meta Business Partners.
Previous experience within a regulated CFD brokerage.
